The Karunyam Children’s Home – Approved C.C.I (Child Care Institution)
On 27 July 2017, The Karunyam Charitable Trust received approval from the Commissionerate of Social Defense to run a CCI (Child Care Institution) for children in need of care and protection. Registered within the Indian regulations for C.C. I’s under the Indian Juvenile Justice Act, The Karunyam Children’s Home was licensed to provide a long-term residential stay for boys and girls.
We exist to help children who are in urgent need of care and protection. We admit any children without care, children from dysfunctional families and those suffering from forms of abuse.
Our goal is to help children who are less likely to transition successfully into adulthood identify their potential and live a meaningful life.
